NETWORKING: Joining the Chamber is an excellent way to make new business contacts and generate sales leads through our monthly Business After Hours events, Bring-Your-Own-Breakfast Series, Social After Hours gatherings, Women in Business Networking and the Business Book Club.
MARKETING: Promote your business through Chamber mailings and email distribution to all of the members. Sponsor one of our Business After Hours events at your location to publicize your business to our entire membership. Attract new clients by advertising in our biannual newsletter, which is distributed to local businesses appears online.
CUSTOMER LOYALTY: Join the Club Card Program and offer promotional discounts to generate new customers, while creating their loyalty. This is a free Chamber program offered through our affiliation with the Central Connecticut Chamber of Commerce.
EDUCATION: Participate in affiliated Central Connecticut Chamber regional seminars on continuing business education topics, such as motivational speaking, time management, labor laws, stress management, and more. Our Business Summits bring companies together for panel discussions on current issues facing businesses.
LEGISLATION: The Chamber is a voice for businesses at the state level and provides members with legislative representation. Become proactive on pending legislation that impacts business and solves problems in Farmington and statewide.
COMMUNITY CONNECTION: Giving back to the community is a priority for the Chamber. Some of the events that the Chamber participates in are the annual Pizza Party, which benefits Farmington High School Scholarships; the annual Farmington Fire Department Golf Tournament; and Unionville Village Day. The Chamber also assists Farmington High School with a job sharing program, job readiness seminars, and mentoring opportunities.
INVOLVEMENT: Chamber members are encouraged to join committees, task forces, and ultimately, the working Board of Directors. Become involved in the many special community events the Chamber supports.
